1]   I/we agree to breed my Mare _________________________
________________________________reg. no.____________to the stallion JF RODANAS PHARO -ID#544554 during the YEAR _____ breeding season. I/we agree to pay the stallion owner _________________for this service. Of that amount, a $200.00______________non-refundable booking fee shall be due with this contract. The unpaid balance of _________ is due when mare leaves premises. __$7__a day mare care. All veterinary expenses are the sole responsibility of mare owner.

2] Mare owner states that mare to be bred is halter broken, ties, is manageable, in sound breeding condition, healthy and free from infectious, contagious or transmittable disease, including passing a coggins test. Mare owner understands that mare should be current on worming and vaccinations before arriving to be bred. Any non maiden mare needs to have veterinary exam-proof of current non infectious breeding condition.

3] This breeding guarantees a live foal. A live foal is described as a new born foal that stands and nurses without assistance. If foal is born dead [proof by veterinary inspection for cause of death], or should the mare miscarry, or abort after leaving the breeding premises mare owner may return mare during same season or next season only. All rebreeds will be charged an additional $100.00 handling fee paid upon delivery of mare, and above named mare care expense.

4] If mare proves barren or unable to settle another mare be substituted of good health and sound breeding condition. Stallion owner reserves the right to refuse an unsuitable or dangerous mare. In the event that mare causes harm to stallion or proves dangerous to live cover, AI will have to be done-at mare owners expense for collection.

5] A breeders certificate will be issued for foal, conceived by this mating, when Stallion fees and all other expenses have been paid in full; and when mare has produced a live foal by this mating.

6] If the Stallion should die or become unfit for service before the mare produces a live foal, or has had an opportunity for a rebreed the following year, the breeding fee, less the booking fee, shall be refunded to mare owner by the Stallion owner within a reasonable time of receipt of a Veterinarian's Certificate stating the mare is barren or did not produce a live foal.

7] This Contract is non-assignable and non-transferable. In the event the mare is sold or otherwise disposed of prior to birth of the foal, the "Live Foal Guarantee" will no longer be valid unless specific written consent or assignment is given to mare owner prior to transfer of ownership.

8]  This Contract with additional agreements if applicable, represents the entire agreement between the parties. No other agreements or promises, verbal or implied, are included unless specifically stated in this written contract. This contract is entered into in the State of California and will be interpreted and enforced under the laws of that state.

9]  All reasonable efforts will be made to provide visiting mares with proper care to insure their health and safety. However, April Battles and the property at 2761 Hoboken Creek Road, Greenwood, CA 95635, shall not be held liable for any loss, sickness, disease or injury incurred during the time they are at above named property.

10]  Mare's rear shoes must be removed for live coverage.

11]  I am the sole owner of the Mare or have authority to enter into this contract on behalf of owners.

12]  Mare owner agrees to have mare checked by Vet within 45 days to confirm mare is in foal.
